City Boat Launch - is located on Anchor's Court, on Marina Island. $5 per car/trailer. Season passes are available from the City Clerk's Office at City Hall. Season passes are $20.00.
Deer Forest Fun Park - Nostalgic family theme park in Coloma, MI. Mingle with over 100 tame deer, ready to eat treats right from your hands. See our 300 other zoo animals, many of them tame enough to pet. Ride our train, ferris wheel and other rides. Visit Storybook Lane where nursery rhymes come to life. Dickinson Park - Baseball and Softball fields. Open for public use when not in use by St. Joseph Public Schools Corner of Stadium Dr. and Wallace Ave.
Hidden Pointe Fun Park - 18 Holes of mini golf, softball and baseball batting cages and arcade. Concessions available or bring your picnic basket. Fun for the whole family! John & Dede Howard Family Recreation Trail - begins behind the Water Plant, at the south end of Lions Park Drive (just below the pedestrian bridge from Lake Court), and runs north to Park Street; west to Silver Beach (use the sidewalk); north along the park sidewalk to Elm Street; north and then east along the edges of Whirlpool Field; north on the south side of Vine Street; east through the Upton Arboretum along the St. Joseph River, and continues east below the Berrien County Courthouse before ending at the Bicentennial Bridge. This multi-use path allows for beautiful views of Lake Michigan and the St. Joseph River over most of its length. Click here for free bike rental information and Trail Map.
John & Dede Howard Ice Arena - 2414 Willa Dr. (Whittlesey Park), St. Joseph, 269-983-8795. This is a refrigerated NHL-sized (200' x 85') outdoor rink. Although open to the weather, the rink does have a roof. There is a warming building with The Center Ice Snack Bar and restrooms.Click here for schedule, fees and rules.
Kiwanis Park & John and Dede Howard Skateboard Park - Picnic shelter, playground, basketball and tennis courts, skateboard park. Skateboard Park hours are seasonal, picnic shelters can be reserved On Pearl St. near Langley Ave.

Lake Bluff Park - Spectacular view of; Lake Michigan, Silver Beach, St. Joseph river, piers and lighthouse. Lake Bluff Park features picnic tables, historic monuments, walking trails. Lake Boulevard and Downtown St. Joseph.

Lions Park is below the bluff in downtown St. Joseph, south on Lions Park Drive. Sheltered pavilions, parking and sidewalks. (No lifeguards on duty for swimming.) It has a playground, restrooms, and a superb view of St. Joseph's pier and lighthouse. Contact he City Clerks Office at (269) 983-6325 for more information.
Lookout Park - Scenic View of Lake Michigan, picnic facilities, viewing structure Two parking areas, free. Lakeshore Drive, north of Hawthorne Ave.
Margaret B. Upton Arboretum - provides approximately eleven hundred feet of footage on the south side of the St. Joseph River, adjacent to the downtown area. It is heavily used during the Venetian Festival and as a broadside moorage during the Tri-State Regatta. A great place to take the kids and feed the ducks. The Howard Recreation Trail passes through the arboretum.
Milton Park - Passive park, playfield and playground. Corner of Niles Ave. and Winchester.
Riverview Park - located at 2927 Niles Road is a 107 acre park located in a bend of the St. Joseph River. The park has baseball fields, playground equipment, picnic shelters, and nature trails. Several of the shelters are available for rental, contact the City Clerks Office at (269) 983-6325 for more information. City residents pay reduced rental rates.
Shadowland Pavillion Overlooking Lake Michigan and the mouth of the St. Joseph River, the Shadowland Pavilion at Silver Beach is an ideal location for a group gathering during the warmer months. It can accommodate up to 160 people seated at picnic tables and includes a charcoal grill and electrical outlets. (It is also a great location for an outdoor concert!) Silver Beach is below the bluff in downtown St. Joseph on Lake Street. It has a 600-space parking lot off Broad Street, men's and women's bathhouses, park office and visitors' center, bike racks, playground equipment, volleyball nets and 1600-foot beach for swimmers (lifeguard on duty during the summer). Voted "Top Ten Beaches" by Parent's Magazine.
Stubblefield Tennis Courts - Newly constructed tennis courts. Open for public use when not in use by St. Joseph Public Schools, restrooms, first come first serve, unlighted. Stadium Drive near the High School.
Tiny Tots' Park - Playground specifically for young children. Corner of Willa Dr. and Botham Ave.
Tiscornia Park is a family oriented park located on sixteen acres along the shoreline of Lake Michigan at the northwest corner of the City. Amenities include the North Pier Lighthouse and walkway that is a popular spot for fishing and watching sunsets, restroom facilities, sandy beach and a pavilion that will accommodate about forty for picnics and is available for rental through the City Clerks Office at (269) 983-6325. $3 admission per vehicle is required for Non City Residents and those without Season Passes. Season Passes are available for $20.
