Candlewood Suites is partnering with Lakeshore Rotary and Lory's Place for its Second Annual Art Auction on Saturday, June 23, 2007 at 5:30 pm at Berrien Hills Golf Club. There will be "silent and live" auctions and among the art featured will be works from several prominent local artists. The proceeds from the evening will benefit both Lakeshore Rotary and Lory's Place. Lory's Place is a grief healing and education center providing peer support group services for grieving children and their families in Southwest Michigan and Northern Indiana. The Center is a focal point for raising awareness and supporting the needs of children who grieve. The Center also offers an Anticipatory Grief program to assist those experiencing the anticipated death of a loved one due to illness or disease.
