Join in on the fun with "Elfkin Elkhounds," "Santa Bernards," and "Reindeer Rotweilers" as they parade down State St. in the Downtown St. Joseph Holiday Parade, sponsored by Chemical Bank. Downtown St. Joseph's annual Reindog Holiday Parade is December 1st beginning at noon. St. Joseph Today is encouraging pet owners to pre-register for this year's parade.

Owners can register online here or register by printing and sending in this form to St. Joseph Today, 120 State Street, St. Joseph, MI 49085. The registration can simply state the pet/group name, your name, address and phone number. Fee to enter is only $2.00 if you register before the deadline of November 18th. Fee to enter after the deadline and at the parade is $4.00.

Free Horse drawn trolley rides, sponsored by the Frederick S. Upton Foundation, will be available from noon - 3pm. To add to the fun and excitement, wonderful prizes donated by downtown businesses will be offered to "Best Dressed," "Best Owner-Pet Look Alike," and "Best Group." Groups, as well as individuals, are welcome to participate, and the parade is not only open to dogs, but any four-legged creatures brave enough to don a costume! To qualify for one of the great prizes, owners must be checked in no later than 11:30am. Winners will be announced prior to the parade and will be given top billing with special banners.
