Saturday Events


Every Labor Day weekend The St. Joseph River Yacht Club plays host to this annual event that includes well over 140 boats racing for bragging rights amongst numerous awards. The Yacht Club hosts the annual Party at their facility which is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC all day. This party includes a buffet breakfast from 7A-11A, Bloody Mary and Screwdriver bar from 7A - noon, Cheeseburger in Paradise lunch from 11A-4p, music from Steve Foresman, 5-8pm, Libido Funk Circus 8pm - midnight, a grilled steak and chicken dinner from 6-10p and drinks from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public...food and beverage available for purchase. Monday Events 

The party continues on Monday (Labor Day) with Jenna Mammina, the Mark Albers Trio and Kevin Marzke starting at 4:00pm...admission is $12 in advance, $15 at the door. Grilled food and bar service will be available for purchase.

The City of St. Joseph, Michigan hosts the Tri-State Regatta to its shores each Labor Day Weekend. The annual event is presented by the Saint Joseph River Yacht Club (SJRYC). The sailboats race between Chicago, St. Joseph and Michigan City, IN in a spectacular array of boats and fierce competition.

Shuttle service will run from the Arboretum to the Yacht Club and back.  The FREE service will run continuously from 7 a.m. to 1 a.m. provided by Harbor Shores Evergreen Development.
