Celebrate the beginning of the holiday season strolling through the beautiful candle-lit streets as over 800 luminaries light your way in downtown St. Joseph. The Luminary Festival is sponsored by AEP/ Cook Nuclear Plant. Shops will be open late to entice you with wonderful gift ideas and festive holiday decor - many merchants will provide refreshments. Shopping, dining and friends! While downtown please stop by the Welcome Center and help celebrate our 30th anniversary! Refreshments and a silent auction to benefit St. Joseph Today will cap off a festive evening. |

December 5th Reindog Holiday Parade - Sponsored by Chemical Bank. At 12 noon costumed pets and their owners will escort Santa into downtown to kick off the holiday season. This years parade is a benefit for Save-A-Stray, The Humane Society and Animal Aid! Three prizes will be awarded in each of the following categories...Best Dressed Pet, Owner/Pet Look-A-Like and Best Group. Pick your group and get registered today for only $2.00!
***While downtown don't miss the Animal Aid of SW Michigan Holiday Open House from 11am - 2pm at the St. Joseph Elks Club. They'll be celebrating the season with a huge bake sale, silent auction, two raffles (don't miss the Chicago Bulls tickets!) and an assortment of donated crafts. Free refreshments, photo opportunities, a visit from Santa and a chance to add another family member by meeting some of their cats and dogs will highlight the afternoon!*** |
