SW Michigan LIVESTRONG Day

October 1st,2010
Supporting the LIVESTRONG organization by raising awareness and funds for the cancer fight.

 

LIVESTRONG Day is the Lance Armstrong Foundation's one-day initiative to unite people affected by cancer in raising awareness of cancer issues on a global level and in communities across the country. LIVESTRONG Day is October 1,2010 and this year more than 1000 local events will take place around the world to raise awareness and funds for the fight against cancer.

Horse Drawn Trolley Rides sponsored by the Upton Foundation, 1-3 pm. Pickup at the Welcome Center. Free.

Flagstar Friday Night Concerts at the Howard Band Shell - 7:30pm

Saturday, September 4th

Tri-State Regatta boats begin arriving in the morning.

Farmers' Market in Lake Bluff Park. 9am-2pm.

Regatta Craft Fair in Lake Bluff Park. 10am-5pm

Horse Drawn Trolley Rides sponsored by the Upton Foundation, noon-3pm. Pickup at the Welcome Center. Free.

Venetian Festival
July 15th - 18th, 2010
Silver Beach, St. Joseph, MI

The Venetian Festival is an annual event that takes place every July in downtown St. Joseph and Silver Beach on the coast of Lake Michigan.  The festival includes food vendors from local restaurants and an array of music on two stages.  A carnival and kids activities are also available.

St. Joseph Municipal Band Concerts
June 27th - September 5th (Sundays and Holidays)
John E.N. Howard Bandshell, Port St., Downtown St. Joseph
Concerts at 3:30 pm & 7:30 pm
The 2010 season of the St. Joseph Municipal Band begins with its normal double concerts, at 3:30 and 7:30 p.m., Sunday, June 27. The band looks forward to providing hour long concerts each Sunday from June 27, through September 5th, and also including 3:30 and 7:30 concerts on July 4 (Independence Day) and its final concerts of the season, September 6(Labor Day).

Krasl Concours on the Bluff
Saturday, August 7th, 2010
Lake Bluff Park
10 a.m. – 4 p.m. 

Join other automobile enthusiasts and enjoy seeing up to 80 invited Brass Era, antique, special-interest and muscle cars on display in St. Joseph's Lake Bluff Park. Vehicles displayed will be complemented by three "pass in review" events narrated by F. Edward Lucas II, "The Voice of Meadow Brook and The Voice of Amelia Island"
