Friday, November 20th, 2009
Dusk - 9 p.m.

Celebrate the beginning of the holiday season strolling through the beautiful candle-lit streets as over 800 luminaries light your way in downtown St. Joseph.  The Luminary Festival is sponsored by AEP/ Cook Nuclear Plant.  Shops will be open late to entice you with wonderful gift ideas and festive holiday decor - many merchants will provide refreshments. Shopping, dining and friends!

While downtown please stop by the Welcome Center and help celebrate our 30th anniversary! Refreshments and a silent auction to benefit St. Joseph Today will cap off a festive evening.

ADDITIONAL LUMINARY ACTIVITIES:  FREE Horse-Drawn Trolley Rides (weather permitting) from 5 - 8 pm, sponsored by the Frederick S. Upton Foundation.

Downtown merchants will transform their store windows into festive delights, lightpoles decked out in pine garlands, wreaths and twinkling lights. To vote for your favorite Holiday window, stop in at the St. Joseph Today Welcome Center at 120 State St.
