The South Bend Chocolate Company was founded in 1991ﾠbyﾠ Mark Tarner and now has 10 company-owned stores in northern Indiana and 10 franchised locations throughout Indianaﾠand Michigan, one being the Chocolate Cafe inﾠdowntown St. Joseph, MI.

The Chocolate Cafe offers delicious chocolates, desserts and ice cream as well as sandwiches andﾠsalads. For those obsessed with the perfect cup of coffee we are delighted to offer several varieties.

Visit our famous chocolate museumﾠand take a factory tour at the headquarters in South Bend, IN which features collections of rare chocolate boxes, posters and many other chocolate collectibles.ﾠ Taste a sample of our confections or sip their famous hot chocolate or your favorite coffee.ﾠ You can view a short film about the history of chocolate.
