Festival to Raise Money for Hispanic Families in Need!
The 9th annual Latin Tastes & Rhythms Festival, hosted by the Whirlpool Hispanic Network, will take place on Saturday, August 4,2012 at the Shadowland Pavilion at Silver Beach in St. Joseph, Michigan. The event, co-sponsored by Whirlpool Corporation, Meijer, Lakeland Hospital and Social Shotz, targets raising an estimated $10,000 in support of the Migrant Project, serving local Hispanic families in need.
Beginning at 4 p.m., the festival will include Latin food & music, authentic Latin Arts and Crafts making, sombrero decorating, corn-hole tournament, cactus limbo, boccee ball, drinking, dancing and much, much more!
Tickets are $5 in advance from area Martin’s Supermarkets and $7 at the door. Children under the age of 10 will be admitted free of charge. All students with a valid ID are $5. Pre-sale tickets are available now from your local Martin’s Super Markets
