From Memorial Day until Labor Day, the Maids of the Mist are shrouded in gentle mist, which delightfully drifts onto anyone walking nearby.

This beautiful fountain is graced by two two female figures named Constance and Hope. Made for the Inter State Industrial Exposition building at the World's Fair in Chicago, the Maids of the Mist found a home in St. Joseph in 1892.
